Terms of Service

Review the terms for using X Follow Checkup.

Introduction

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using "X Follow Checkup" (the "Service") provided by Lurest Inc. (the "Company"). By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships between the Company and users concerning use of the Service.

Article 2 (Service Description)

The Service helps users connect their own X account and review or organize information about accounts they follow or their followers.

The Service displays information available through the X API. All or part of the Service may become unavailable due to X API specifications, restrictions, outages, rate limits, policy changes by X, or similar causes.

Article 3 (X Account Connection)

Users shall connect their own X account through X OAuth authentication when using the Service.

Users shall connect only X accounts for which they have management authority, and shall not use third-party accounts without permission.

Users shall comply with X's terms of service, developer policies, and other rules set by X.

Article 4 (Handling of Acquired Data)

The Service handles X account information and information acquired through the X API to the extent necessary for authentication, follow checks, result display, inquiry handling, quality improvement, and other provision of the Service.

Details on how acquired data is handled are governed by the Company's separately established Privacy Policy.

Article 5 (Fees)

Some features of the Service may be paid features. Fees, payment methods, and provision conditions follow the information displayed before purchase or use begins.

During the MVP period or other periods specified by the Company, fees may be free or differ from normal pricing.

Article 6 (Refunds and Cancellations)

Refund and cancellation conditions for paid features follow the refund and cancellation policy separately established by the Company.

Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service.

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  2. Using or connecting a third party's X account without permission
  3. Attempting to bypass specifications, restrictions, rate limits, or similar controls of the Service or X API
  4. Unauthorized access, excessive requests, reverse engineering, scraping, or other acts that interfere with operation of the Service
  5. Using the Service for spam, harassment, discrimination, defamation, or other inappropriate purposes
  6. Using acquired information in a manner that violates laws, X's terms, or third-party rights
  7. Infringing the intellectual property rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights or interests of the Company, X, other users, or third parties
  8. Other acts the Company deems inappropriate

Article 8 (User Responsibility)

Users shall review and use information displayed on the Service at their own responsibility.

The Service supports review of follow relationships and account information, and does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, freshness, or usefulness of displayed results.

If a dispute arises between a user and a third party due to use of the Service, the user shall resolve it at the user's own responsibility and expense.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Intellectual property rights for programs, screens, designs, logos, text, and other content related to the Service belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders.

Rights related to X, the X logo, content acquired through the X API, and other X-related matters belong to X Corp. or legitimate rights holders.

Article 10 (Changes, Suspension, and Termination)

The Company may change, add to, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice to users.

The Company may suspend all or part of the Service due to X API specification changes, rate limits, outages, maintenance, system failures, legal compliance, or other unavoidable reasons.

Article 11 (Use Restrictions)

If a user violates these Terms or if the Company determines it necessary, the Company may suspend or restrict the user's use of the Service without prior notice.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

The Company does not warrant that the Service is free from factual or legal defects, suitable for any particular purpose, continuously available, or that displayed information is accurate, complete, or current.

The Company is not liable for damages incurred by users from use of or inability to use the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

Even where the Company is liable in connection with paid services, such liability is limited to the total usage fees paid by the user to the Company during the one month preceding the time the damage occurred.

Article 13 (Changes to Terms)

The Company may change these Terms as necessary. Revised Terms become effective when displayed on the Service or at the time specified by the Company.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

If a dispute arises between the Company and a user concerning the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the Company's location shall be the exclusive court of first instance.

Article 15 (Inquiries)

Inquiries concerning the Service shall be made through the inquiry contact or inquiry page separately designated by the Company.
